The Louis Armstrong Memorial Prizes:

From 2005 in every year we award the outstanding musicians of Louis Armstrong Jazz festival and/or the Hungarian jazz life with Louis Armstrong Memorial Prizes. In the last 10 years prestigious Hungarian and foreign artists, bands, and civils with outstanding festival organization were awarded.

The prize – as in case of the Louis Armstrong and Joe Murányi statues- is created by Győrfi Lajos sculptor artist.
